Hardware Engineer
Perform system level hardware
engineering, including programmable logic, board level, and system design.
Design and develop hardware platform that controls an X-Ray Diffraction
System, including logic control module, OEM Module Integrations and Custom
Cable Interconnect. Design and develop Main Control Module, comprised of
multiple FPGAs, CPLDs, Op-Amp circuits and PCI Interface. Perform system
level verification and testing. Assist in troubleshooting product
development problems. Serve as first line of service in resolving customer
issues brought to the department. Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical
Engineering or equivalent with strong knowledge of analog and digital
design, including programmable logic design. Previous product development
experience required. Strong customer orientation and excellent
interpersonal and communication skills required.
Scientists
Research new X-ray diffraction applications, assist in the development of
new X-ray diffraction-based products, and develop signature library
database. Interpret electronic X-ray diffraction data to determine data
quality. Assist with providing field service for initial products,
including customization, configuration, alignment and calibration.
Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Geology or
related area required; advanced degree preferred. Must have significant
X-ray diffraction experience. Database and MS Office skills necessary.
SQL, C Programming language and statistical skills preferred.
Field
Service Manager
Establish a national field service program that can be scaled to world-wide
for a young company developing material identification systems based on
X-ray diffraction technology. Recruit and manage a team of service
technicians; train and oversee distributor customer service technicians.
Company will have multiple products servicing multiple markets and
industries. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required. Must have
progressive technical field service experience for a complex product,
leading up to a management role. Experience establishing and managing a
technical field service program for a large, global company a plus.
Field
Service Engineer
Provide effective field service for all customers by utilizing in-depth knowledge of X-ray diffraction, company
products and programs as well as team members within the company. Supervise
and train other field service technicians. Assist in developing and
maintaining procedures pertinent to the operation of the Field Service
Department. Ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. Maintain
in-depth working knowledge of company systems and processes. Bachelor’s
degree in a technical field preferred. Must have previous field service
experience with X-ray diffraction equipment. Problem analysis and problem
resolution skills at a functional level required. Strong customer service
orientation and excellent interpersonal and communication skills necessary.
